For the third time during this pandemic, the NPS through the Special Projects Division and the NPS Trainers, formally welcomed and trained 30 new prosecutors in a 5-day online onboarding seminar on September 7-11, 2020.

Prosecutor General Benedicto A. Malcontento, who led the welcome and opening ceremonies of the onboarding, exhorted the new prosecutors to uphold and live by the values of the NPS, foremost of them are proficiency and integrity.

This 5-day onboarding seminar is a simplified version of a more rigorous Program for Onboarding Prosecutors, the entry-level training program under the life-long learning and development curriculum of prosecutors.

The graduation day of the said onboarding seminar, as with the first two that were held on June 28 to July 3, 2020 and July 17- July 24, 2020, saw the new prosecutors expressing their profound gratitude for the warm welcome and invaluable learnings they received from the NPS officials and the prosecutors-trainers during the week-long online training.
