The Department of Justice (DOJ) is set to bring a wide range of essential government services closer to the people through the upcoming Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair on August 2-3 at the Leyte Normal University.

The two-day fair aims to provide convenient access to government services, making it easier for the public to transact with government agencies.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla said, “We believe that bringing government services closer to the people is essential in improving government efficiency and accessibility.”

Participating frontline services include clearance services by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), tourist visa extensions, exit clearances and dual citizenship applications by the Bureau of Immigration (BI), Help Desk by the Land Registration Authority (LRA), drafting of legal documents, rendering of legal advice, government referral by the DOJ Action Center (DOJAC) and the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) and information dissemination on Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), Board of Claims (BOC) and Witness Protection, Security and Benefits Program (WPSBP) by the National Prosecution Service (NPS) Region VIII.

“By bringing these services directly to their communities, we are not only making government more accessible but also demonstrating our commitment to public service and good governance,” Secretary Remulla added.

The DOJ encourages the public to take advantage of this opportunity to avail of the services offered during the fair.
