In an effort to close communication gaps between the government and its people for the effective administration of justice, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boying Remulla a spearheaded the launch of the Manual of Writing Style which aims to institutionalize legal writing and other forms of communication utilized in the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) quest for justice.

Undersecretary-in-Charge for the National Prosecution Service (NPS) Jesse Hermogenes T. Andres provided direct supervision over the ceremonial launching of the manifesto.

This document provides a streamlined guideline in legal writing which includes form, style and certain principles to provide easier and better understanding between the DOJ and its clients.

“It is high-time that we take the lead in establishing and implementing universally accepted principles in legal writing which provides ease and convenience in the efficient administration of justice for the benefit of the general public,” Sec Remulla said.

“Attuned to the present times, this Manual will serve as a blueprint on legal writing, style and other formal correspondence,” added the Secretary.
