Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla extended his warm greetings to DOJ employees during the first flag-raising ceremony for 2023.
Secretary Remulla noted that 2023 will be a very challenging year, and said he expects everybody, no matter what the challenges are, to stay the course.
Moreover, the Secretary announced the reconstitution of the Department’s Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Committee and the conduct of DOJ MCLE Conventions which will run beginning CY 2023 until the end of the 8th MCLE Compliance Period, which shall be free to all DOJ lawyers and prosecutors nationwide.
The Secretary also bared that aside from the benefits received last year from the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) and the monetization of leave credits applied for by some employees, the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) will be released soon.
