Today, in the capital town of Virac in Catanduanes Province, Justice Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre II, together with Undersecretary Raymund Mecate, Assistant Secretary Adonis Sulit, and the prosecutors of Region V, led the groundbreaking ceremony for the DOJ Building.
In just two months, the Department of Justice has already broken ground for the establishment of six new DOJ buildings all over the country, including the DOJ Academy and Training Center in Tagaytay City.
“These DOJ edifices underscore our commitment to improve the welfare of our DOJ employees and, hopefully, the level of service that we provide to our people”, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said.
Upon his landing in the Virac Domestic Airport, Secretary Aguirre became the first incumbent DOJ Secretary to visit the DOJ family in the Province of Catanduanes in almost 20 years.
