23 December 2024

Exceeding expectations in the pursuit of delivering Real Justice for All in Real Time, the Department of Justice (DOJ), through the DOJ Action Center (DOJAC), has multiplied by approximately five times the number of clients it has served for fiscal year 2024 compared to the previous year.

As of 30 November 2024, DOJAC was able to assist a total of 12,879 clients, roughly five times more compared to 2,815 clients last year.

Top three of the list are Walk-in Clients with 7632, Notarization Services with 4184 followed by clients served by way of  Indorsements/Referrals with 2619.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” C. Remulla commended the DOJAC for consistently breaking and surpassing organizational goals in delivering real justice for all.

“Public service is the cornerstone of every State where the absence of which makes the latter cease to exist. As an agency mandated to uphold the rule of law, it is our duty to rise up in every occasion by ensuring access to justice for all and delivering our functions with excellence. Denying access to justice is denying people’s dignity,” said Secretary Remulla.

DOJAC is headed by Program Director Joan Carla Guevarra under the direct supervision of Undersecretary Margarita N. Gutierrez.

Other core services offered by the DOJAC are mediation, preparation of legal documents and the organization of the Katarungan Caravan.
