DOJ 112th Anniversary Kicks-off with 112 prisoners released from prison and new reforms

The Department of Justice will celebrate its 112th anniversary this September 25, 2009 with a series of activities which including medical, dental and legal mission; case tracking of DOJ Electronic Prosecution Case Management (ePCMS); photo exhibits; and honoring outstanding DOJ prosecutors and employees. The activities will start on August 27 and ending on September 28, 2009 with a gala night.

In connection with the forthcoming anniversary, DOJ Acting Secretary Agnes VST Devanadera announced today the release of 30 out of 112 prisoners who have already served their minimum sentences. The last batch will be released on September 10 at the NBI gym.
