GONZALEZ ASSUMES DOJ PORTFOLIO

 DOJ officials and employees welcome Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez when he formally took over as the new justice head today.
During the turn-over ceremony, he urged the dedicated men and women of the DOJ to help him deliver the expectations of the President.
The newly appointed secretary also exhorted them to be vigilant and make the true essence of justice felt by all sectors of society.
He challenged DOJ officials and workers of the Department to be firm and resolute in the discharge of its mandate to give optimum efforts as an efficient machinery of good governance for a strong and stable government.
