Prosecutors Hold Annual Conference in Baguio

The National Prosecutors' League of the Philippines (NPLP) is holding its 12th National Convention Seminar at the Teachers' Camp in Baguio City from 27 - 30 April 2003.
The Convention proper starts on April 28 preceded by a Sportsfest on April 27. The sportsfest shall feature the 1st Simeon Datumanong Fellowship Golf Tournament, bowling, billiard, singing and dance contests.
On the 28th, the program starts at 8:00 a.m. for registration. Keynote speaker is Justice Secretary Simeon Datumanong with Baguio City Mayor Bernardo Vergara to deliver the welcome remarks.
In the afternoon, Supreme Court Associate Justice Romeo Callejo shall deliver a lecture on the Latest Trends and Jurisprudence in Criminal Law and Procedure.
April 29 and 30 shall be dedicated to NPLP business like its 8th National Elections and the ratification/referendum of Proposed Amendments to its Constitution.
